Had the most amazing week in Perth. Headed up on Wednesday the 1st of November in time to attend the WAM regional roundtable on Thursday followed by WAMCON and an amazing three days of live music. Great networking opportunity and absolutely fantastic to hear from regional musicians, managers and teachers to find out what they are up to in their region. Some exceptionally inspiring encounters. One true highlight of the weekend was getting to see Perth act Old Blood perform at the Indi Bar.
The Southern River Band Play the 2017 WAMi Festival - World class
They are an amazingly smooth blues oriented band and well hallelujah they will be playing a free concert at the Soundshell on the 2nd of December brought to you by the Esperance Shire. I’m truly struggling to contain my excitement. Illuminate which forms the live music element of the Shires Edge Of The Bay celebrations features Perth acts Old Blood, Elli Schoen, Ruby May and Brayden Sibbald supported by locals Firehorse, Grand Casual, Rachel Vibart and John Ratcliff. Kicking off at 3.30 and cracking on until late in the evening, this is an event you should clear your schedule for.
